(3) Where conditions apply only to a specific Service, the relevant provisions of these Terms (such as Article 19, Special Provisions for Physical Goods Transactions) or individual notices shall take precedence.

Article 3 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms have the following meanings.

  1. Member: A person who agrees to these Terms, enters into a service agreement with the Company, and is granted an account
  2. Unified Account: A member identification system that allows use of all Services listed in Article 2(1) with a single account
  3. Template: A set of design, composition, and presentation elements provided by the Company for creating works such as videos
  4. Work: The output (such as a video) created by a Member by applying their own photos, videos, text, and other materials to a Template

  9. Paid Services: Any services provided by the Company for a fee (extraction of Works, Credits, cloud subscriptions, physical goods, etc.)

Article 4 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

(1) The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the terms page within each Service so that Members can easily review them.

(2) The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendment does not violate applicable laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.

(3) When the Company amends these Terms, it will announce the effective date and the reasons for the amendment within the Services from at least 7 days before the effective date. However, in the case of changes unfavorable or material to Members, the Company will announce them from at least 30 days before the effective date and will individually notify Members by email, app notification, or similar means.

(4) If a Member continues to use the Services without expressing refusal by the effective date of the amended Terms, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms. A Member who does not agree to the amended Terms may terminate the service agreement (withdraw from membership).

Article 5 (Rules Outside These Terms and Individual Policies)

(1) Matters concerning the processing of personal information are governed by the separate Privacy Policy.

(2) Details concerning payments and refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy and the consent notices provided at the time of payment; where they conflict with these Terms, those policies prevail.

(3) Matters not provided for in these Terms are governed by applicable laws or commercial practice.

Article 6 (Language and Interpretation)

(1) The Company may provide these Terms and the Services in multiple languages, including Korean.

(2) In the event of any discrepancy between a translated version of these Terms and the Korean original, the Korean original prevails.

Chapter 2. Membership and Accounts

Article 7 (Formation of the Service Agreement)

(1) The service agreement is formed when a prospective member agrees to these Terms, applies for membership through the procedures set by the Company (email sign-up or sign-up via linked social accounts), and the Company accepts the application.

(2) The Company may refuse to accept, or subsequently terminate, an application that falls under any of the following.

  1. Where the applicant has misappropriated another person's name or information
  2. Where false information has been provided or required information has been omitted
  3. Where the applicant has a history of use restrictions due to a prior violation of these Terms
  4. Where the application otherwise violates applicable laws or is made for an improper purpose

(3) Children under the age of 14 may not register as Members.

Article 8 (Unified Account)

(1) A Member may use all Services listed in Article 2(1) with a single Unified Account, and logging in to any one Service may, within the scope set by the Company, extend the logged-in state to other Services.

(2) Assets and records attributable to the account — such as Credits, Coupons, purchase history, and Works — are managed on a Unified Account basis. However, assets usable only in a specific Service (e.g., coupons dedicated to a particular Service) are subject to the conditions stated at the time of issuance.

(3) Membership withdrawal takes effect for the entire Unified Account; a Member cannot withdraw from an individual Service separately.

Article 9 (Changes to Member Information)

Members may view and modify their information through the account settings screen and must update any information provided at sign-up that has changed. Any disadvantage arising from failure to update such information is borne by the Member.

Article 10 (Account Management Obligations)

(1) Members are responsible for managing their accounts and must not transfer, lend, or share their accounts with third parties.

(2) If a Member becomes aware that their account has been stolen or is being used by a third party without authorization, the Member must immediately notify the Company and follow the Company's guidance.

(3) For account security, the Company may take measures such as managing the validity period of login sessions, requiring re-login, and invalidating sessions.

Article 11 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)

(1) A Member may request termination of the service agreement (withdrawal) at any time through the in-service withdrawal function or customer inquiries, and the Company will process the request without delay in accordance with applicable laws.

(2) Upon withdrawal, the Member's data and assets attributable to the account — including Content, Works, and unused Credits and Coupons — are deleted and cannot be recovered, except for information that must be retained under applicable laws. Refunds of unused paid assets are governed by the Refund Policy.

(3) If a Member violates these Terms, the Company may terminate the service agreement after prior notice. However, in the case of a serious violation requiring urgent action, notice may be given afterward.

Article 12 (Notices to Members)

(1) Where notice to a Member is required, the Company may give notice by one or more of the following methods: the email registered by the Member, app push notifications, or in-service notifications.

(2) Notice to an unspecified number of Members may be substituted by posting an announcement within the Services. However, matters that materially affect an individual Member's transactions will be notified individually.

Chapter 3. Use of the Services

Article 13 (Provision of the Services)

(1) The Company provides Members with services such as the following.

  1. Creation, editing, and extraction of template-based works such as videos
  2. Storage and archiving of photo and video records
  3. Handwriting and note-taking with cloud storage
  4. Sale and delivery of physical goods
  5. Other services determined by the Company

(2) The Services are, in principle, provided 24 hours a day, year-round. However, the Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the Services for system maintenance, equipment replacement, or technical necessity, and planned suspensions will be announced in advance.

(3) For time-consuming operations such as video rendering (Extraction), the completion time may vary depending on the order of receipt and system conditions.

Article 14 (Changes to and Termination of the Services)

(1) The Company may change or terminate all or part of the Services it provides (including individual programs) as needed for operational or technical reasons.

(2) Where the contents of a Service are changed or a Service is terminated, the Company will announce the reasons and schedule in advance by the methods set forth in Article 12. Where Paid Services are affected, the Company will take remedial measures such as refunds in accordance with the Refund Policy and applicable laws.

Article 15 (Paid Services and Payment)

(1) The Company displays the price, conditions of use, and period of use of Paid Services on the payment screen within each Service, and Members must review them before making payment.

(2) The payment currency is displayed and charged in Korean won (KRW), Japanese yen (JPY), or US dollars (USD) according to the Member's language and region settings. Any international transaction fees or exchange-rate differences imposed by the issuer of the Member's payment method are borne by the Member.

(3) Payments are processed through the means provided by the Company — such as credit cards, bank transfers, and simplified payments — and through the electronic payment gateway (PG) providers contracted by the Company. In-app purchases in mobile apps are additionally subject to the payment systems and policies of the relevant app market operators, such as the Apple App Store and Google Play.

(4) Paid digital services, such as extraction of Works, become available after payment is completed (or after Credits or extraction rights are used) and may be subject to limits on the number of uses or the period stated at the time of purchase.

(5) If a Member who is a minor makes a payment without the consent of their legal representative, the minor or their legal representative may cancel the payment in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 16 (Credits)

(1) Credits may be used for the Paid Services designated by the Company and are topped up by the methods set by the Company, such as in-app purchases.

(2) Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to third parties, and detailed conditions such as the order of use and validity period follow the notices provided at the time of top-up.

(3) Refunds of unused Credits after top-up are governed by the Refund Policy and the refund policy of the app market operator through which the payment was made.

Article 17 (Withdrawal of Offer and Refunds)

(1) The conditions and procedures for withdrawal of offer and refunds for Paid Services are set forth in the Refund Policy, and the Company complies with applicable laws (including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. and the Content Industry Promotion Act).

(2) In the following cases, withdrawal of offer may be restricted in accordance with applicable laws, and the Company will indicate this fact before payment.

  1. Where the provision of digital content has commenced, such as when extraction (rendering and download delivery) of a Work has begun
  2. Where the goods or services are produced individually at the Member's request
  3. Where the value of the goods has significantly decreased due to use or partial consumption

(3) Refunds for in-app purchases made through app markets may additionally be subject to the refund procedures of the relevant app market operator.

(4) Where normal use is impossible due to causes attributable to the Company (such as defects in a Work or service failures), the Company will reprocess or refund in accordance with the Refund Policy.

Article 18 (Coupons and Events)

(1) The Company may issue Coupons or run events, and the conditions of use of a Coupon (eligible Services, discount rate, validity period, whether it can be combined, etc.) follow the details indicated at the time of issuance.

(2) Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred, and they expire when their validity period ends. Coupons obtained or used by improper means, and any benefits derived therefrom, may be reclaimed.

(3) Event participation conditions and benefit criteria follow the individual event notices, and if improper participation is confirmed, the provision of benefits may be canceled.

Article 19 (Special Provisions for Physical Goods Transactions — Ready2Shop)

(1) This Article takes precedence for purchases of physical goods on Ready2Shop.

(2) A purchase contract is formed when the Member completes the procedures of selecting goods, entering a shipping address, and making payment, and the Company confirms and notifies receipt of the order. The Company may cancel an order or refuse acceptance for reasons such as stock depletion, errors in product information, or fraudulent orders, in which case the payment amount will be refunded.

(3) The Company will arrange for ordered goods to be delivered within the period stated on the product page. Where delivery is delayed due to unavoidable causes such as natural disasters or logistics conditions, the Company will give notice of the reasons.

(4) A Member may withdraw their offer (exchange or return) within 7 days from the date of receiving the goods. However, where the contents of the goods differ from what was displayed or advertised, the Member may withdraw within 3 months from the date of receipt or within 30 days from the date of becoming aware of that fact.

(5) Withdrawal of offer is restricted where the goods have been destroyed or damaged due to causes attributable to the Member, where the value of the goods has decreased due to wearing, washing, or removal of tags, or where the value has decreased to the extent that resale is difficult due to the passage of time.

(6) For exchanges or returns due to a simple change of mind, the round-trip shipping costs are borne by the Member; in cases of defective goods or misdelivery, the Company bears the costs. Other cancellation, return, and refund procedures are governed by the Refund Policy.

Chapter 4. Content and Intellectual Property

Article 20 (Company's Intellectual Property)

(1) Copyrights and intellectual property rights in the Services and in the templates, designs, fonts, audio, effects, software, and other materials provided by the Company belong to the Company or their rightful holders.

(2) Members may use such materials only within the scope of using the Services and must not, without the Company's prior consent, use them for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use them by means of reproduction, distribution, transmission, creation of derivative works, reverse engineering, extraction, or similar methods.

Article 21 (Rights to Member Content)

(1) The rights to Content uploaded to the Services by a Member — such as photos, videos, text, and notes — belong to the Member (or the rightful holder).

(2) The Member grants the Company the right to use the Content to the extent necessary for providing, operating, and improving the Services (including storage, backup, technical transformations such as encoding and resizing, rendering of Works, and provision of previews). This license is limited to those purposes and terminates when the Member deletes the Content or withdraws from membership, except where retention is required under applicable laws.

(3) Members must hold lawful rights to the Content they upload (including consent regarding third-party rights such as portrait rights and copyrights), and Members are responsible for any disputes arising from their Content.

Article 22 (Scope of Use of Works)

(1) A Work that a Member has duly paid for and extracted may be freely used for personal, non-commercial purposes (sharing with family and acquaintances, screening at events, posting on personal social media, etc.). Works from Services premised on commercial use, such as Ready2Promotion, may be used commercially within the scope notified in that Service.

(2) Separating Company-provided elements included in a Work — such as templates and audio — from the Work for separate use, or reselling or redistributing a template itself, is prohibited.

Article 23 (Reviews and Other Public Posts)

(1) Posts intended for public disclosure, such as reviews written by Members, are publicly visible within the Services and may be exposed to all users regardless of language settings.

(2) The Company may use public posts for composing service screens and for service promotion (exposure within the Services), and may provide them converted into other languages through machine translation or similar means. Separate consent will be obtained for use in advertising outside the Services.

Article 24 (Management of Posts)

(1) Where a Member's Content or posts violate applicable laws or infringe the rights of third parties, the rights holder may request takedown or other measures through the relevant procedures, and the Company will act in accordance with applicable laws.

(2) The Company may take temporary measures — such as deletion or making private — without prior notice for posts that fall under any of the following.

  1. Posts that infringe the rights of others (copyright, portrait rights, reputation, etc.)
  2. Obscene material, illegal information, or posts harmful to minors
  3. Advertising, spam, or other posts unrelated to the purpose of the Services
  4. Other posts that violate applicable laws or these Terms

Article 25 (AI-Based Features)

(1) The Company may provide features that utilize artificial intelligence technology, such as chatbot support, image recognition (OCR), and automatic translation.

(2) Due to the nature of the technology, the output of AI-based features may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for reference only. Where automatically translated terms or notices differ from the original, the original prevails.

Chapter 5. Obligations and Liability

Article 26 (Obligations of the Company)

(1) The Company will not engage in acts prohibited by applicable laws or these Terms and will do its best to provide the Services continuously and reliably.

(2) The Company protects Members' personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

(3) The Company operates channels (such as email inquiries) for handling legitimate opinions and complaints raised by Members, and where deemed legitimate, will handle them promptly and notify the results.

Article 27 (Obligations of Members — Prohibited Acts)

Members must not engage in any of the following acts.

  1. Providing false information or misappropriating another person's information during sign-up or use
  2. Infringing the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, or other rights of the Company or third parties
  3. Reproducing, distributing, or commercially using information, templates, or assets obtained through the Services without the Company's consent
  4. Abnormal access using automated means (crawlers, macros, etc.), acts that impose load on servers or networks, or acts exploiting vulnerabilities of the Services
  5. Fraudulent transactions such as misappropriating payment methods, fraudulent refunds, or improperly obtaining Coupons or event benefits
  6. Uploading or posting content that is obscene, violent, or contrary to public order and morals
  7. Using the Services for commercial purposes without the Company's consent, or selling or lending accounts
  8. Other acts that violate applicable laws or these Terms

Article 28 (Restrictions on Use)

(1) If a Member violates Article 27, the Company may take measures in stages according to the severity of the violation, such as warnings, temporary suspension, permanent suspension, or termination of the agreement.

(2) When restricting use, the Company will notify the Member of the reasons and duration by the methods set forth in Article 12, and a Member who objects may raise an objection through the inquiry channels. If the objection is deemed legitimate, the Company will immediately resume the Member's use.

Article 29 (Limitation of Liability)

(1) The Company is exempt from liability where it cannot provide the Services due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, war, suspension of service by key telecommunications operators, or technical defects that are difficult to resolve.

(2) The Company has no obligation to intervene in service disruptions caused by reasons attributable to the Member, or in disputes arising between Members or between a Member and a third party through Content, and bears no liability absent causes attributable to the Company.

(3) The Company takes reasonable measures to preserve Content stored by Members in the Services; however, Members must separately keep important original materials. The Company bears no liability for data loss that occurs without the Company's intent or gross negligence.

(4) For damages caused by failures or interruptions of Services provided free of charge, the Company bears no liability absent the Company's intent or gross negligence.

Article 30 (Damages)

(1) Where the Company or a Member causes damage to the other party by violating these Terms, the violating party is liable to compensate for such damage.

(2) Where the Company receives a claim for damages, a lawsuit, or any other objection from a third party due to a Member's violation of these Terms, the Member must indemnify and hold the Company harmless at the Member's own responsibility and expense and must compensate the Company for any damage incurred.

Article 31 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

(1) The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to disputes arising between the Company and Members.

(2) Lawsuits concerning disputes arising between the Company and a Member shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act. However, for disputes with a Member whose address or residence is outside the Republic of Korea, the Seoul Central District Court of the Republic of Korea shall be the competent court.

(3) Members may apply for mediation with dispute resolution bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee to resolve disputes.

Addendum

  1. These Terms take effect on September 21, 2026.
  2. Prior terms that applied to individual Services before these Terms took effect are superseded by these Terms. Transactions concluded before the effective date are governed by the terms in effect at the time of the transaction.
